When you step into Disney's Contemporary Resort you will quickly recognize the vision Walt Disney had for this deluxe resort. This Disney Deluxe resort, is  modularly constructed and towers above the nearby Magic Kingdom. It is famous for its unique design that allows the Walt Disney World monorail to run right through it. This 15 story A-frame resort allows you to absorb and take in the area surroundings from the observation deck atop this majestic resort when you dine at the California Grill.

When you stay at this Disney Deluxe resort you will be able to enjoy all the resort amenities such as; six shops, two snack bars, a marina, beach, large pool, playground, volleyball, game room, laundry, boat rentals, parasailing, fitness center, golf, tennis, pools, water slides and jacuzzi.

You will also be able to enjoy the famous Chef Mickey's character dining experience and dine at the wonderfully delicious California Grill atop this grand resort. 

Your accommodations will be brand new since this Disney resort has received a complete renovation. Your new 422 square foot room is completely furnished with with dark, rich wood tones and detailed millwork that is accented by marbled-topped nightstands and console tables. A spacious glass-top desk provides a place for business travelers to work and leisure travelers to organize their fun, complete with 2 phones, ergonomic desk chair, large compartment closet, refrigerator, 32" LCD TV, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, safe and 4 mirrors. And when it is time to turn in, the fresh duvet covers and linens await you along with beautifully woven bed throws atop divine bedding on the Queen sized beds and the daybed. The bathroom features separate tub, toilet and vanity area.

Disney's Contemporary Resort accommodates 5 persons per room. If more than 2 adults will be sharing the same room, an additional $25 per adult per night will apply.

In addition to all the resort amenities, you will receive a daily paper delivered right to your door as well as nightly turndown service is requested.

Dining:

California Grill serves dinner from 5:30-10:30 pm and offers a lounge that is open until midnight. Menu includes: California cuisine, extensive wines on-stage kitchen. The Observation Deck atop this resort is exclusive to guests dining at the California Grill.

The Concourse Steakhouse serves breakfast from 7:30-11 am, lunch 12-2 pm and dinner 5:30-10 pm. Menu includes: Filet mignon, rib-eye, N.Y. Strip Steak, spareribs, chicken and salmon.

Chef Mickey's Restaurant serves up an all you care to eat buffet for breakfast from 7-11:30 am and dinner from 5-9:30 pm. Chef Mickey and his friends will delight you with their antics.

Food and Fun Center is open 24 hours a day for your convenience and serves breakfast from 7-11 am daily along with counter service items such as hot and cold sandwiches, salads, snacks and desserts  from 11 am. - 10 pm.

Outer Rim Lounge serves cocktails, snacks and drink specials from 4-11 pm.

Sand Bar and Grill is a full service bar serving tropical drinks from 12-6 pm. and offering all day dining with items such as deli sandwiches, salads.            Weather permitting.

 Contemporary Resort will keep you cool with 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis, and a fun filled waterslide. You can even enjoy the white sandy beach for the ultimate in relaxation and sunbathing. Your children will really enjoy the playground and arcade onsite at this resort. Want to keep up your health regime, you will be able to do so at the Olympiad Fitness Center. Here you will find Nautilus, 
Cardiovascular & Weight Training Equipment, Dumbbells, Sauna and 
Tanning Booths. You can also take in the natural surroundings on the paths for walking and jogging, Specialty cruises, fishing excursions, tennis, shuffle board, Volleyball, enjoy boating, parasailing and other great water sports. You won't hear "I am bored" staying at this great Disney Resort.

Shopping is available at BVG - 8:30 am-11pm, Fantasia 8:30am- 11pm,
Concourse Spirits & Sundries 7:30am-11pm, and Pin Central from 8 am � 11 pm.

*** You will be able to view the Electric Water Pageant as it floats by this Disney Deluxe resort Cat 10:05 pm.
Transportation is available via the monorail  between the Transportation & Ticket Center, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot until 1� hours after each park closes. Service to the resorts is available until 11PM or two hours after the Magic Kingdom closes, whichever is later. The resort monorail services Disney�s Contemporary Resort, Disney�s Polynesian Resort, and Disney�s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and begins running at 7:15AM.
