This is one of the most spectacular events held every year at Walt Disney World. The Candlelight Processional takes place at Epcot. It includes a mass choir, joined by a 50-piece live orchestra and a celebrity narrator, who tell the story of Christmas in words and music, in a very moving performance. Performances are held at the America Gardens Theatre.

Another Family favorite is Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. Held at the Magic Kingdom, this event is private for Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party Ticket holders. The Magic Kingdom Park closes to the general public and only ticket holders can experience the magic of this holiday party. The magic begins with snow falling on Main Street as you enjoy your complimentary Christmas cookies with a steaming cup of hot cocoa. There is no mistaken that when you watch the incredible parade, with Gingerbread Men, Elves, Snowmen and the amazing Wooden Soldiers, you will  be filled with holiday cheer. They accompany Mickey and friends on their nightly march along the parade route and end the parade with a "grand" finale of an appearance by Santa himself.

You will find yourself joining in on the caroling, be in awe over the special holiday decorations and wonderful special celebrations that only take place at this most wonderful time of the year. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade  is available each day and is broadcast live on Christmas morning. See amazing stage shows, special holiday fireworks, snow falling on main stress, the amazing tree lighting ceremoney. You will enjoy cookies and cocoa and listen to the great sounds of the carolers. Be Jammin at Mickey's Jingle Jungle Expedition that takes place at the Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This lively Disney World Christmas Parade is performed from December 1 till December 31 and will have you celebrating the season safari style. Watch the faces of your children as they join Mickey and his Savannah friends at this great holiday event.

Hollywood Studios

One of the most popular events at Walt Disney World is the Osborne Family Lights that takes place at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This spectacular event that runs from Nov. 23 - Jan. 8th will have you experiencing a Walt Disney World Christmas.

The millions of lights that twinkle in the night bring this hollywood theme park into a time of celebration. You will stroll through the festival of lights and view the angels that fly overhead, and Yes, Virginia, it does snow in Florida.

Hot chocolate and snacks are available at the kiosks and dining locations. Opposite the Sci-Fi Drive In is a bar where you can get alcoholic drinks including spiced Egg Nog. Admission to this awesome display is free with your MGM Studio admission, and it's a MUST SEE if you're visiting Disney World over the holidays.

You will also enjoy the Hollywood Holly-Day Parade at Disney MGM Studio Theme park which includes Mickey and Minnie as the Grand Marshals of this fun filled holiday event. Decked out in their holiday finery, Mickey and Minnie transform their car into a Christmas carriage with wreaths and garlands. They are accompanied by Goofy, Donald and Pluto.
