Aloha! When you stay at this amazing Disney Resort, you will find yourself experiencing the Polynesia. With its tropical decor, amazingly convenient location to the Magic Kingdom, you will feel as though you are in a Hawaiian paradise.
Surrounded by the Seven Seas Lagoon, directly across from the Magic Kingdom, the views from this grand hotel are awesome. With white sandy beaches, monorail access, delectable dining choices, gorgeous pools, its no wonder this Disney resort is so popular. This resort has undergone extensive renovations and now you can enjoy this "new" resort with grand tropical decor and modern room amenities yourself.
Your spacious room at the Polynesian Resort offers you 410 square feet, completely new, with dark carved wood furniture, tropical decor, custom linens that truly have you experiencing the Polynesia. Your room will provide you with accommodations for 5 with 2 queen beds, and a day bed. Canopied beds, custom carved headboards, and banana leaf mirrors, add to the tropical charm.
For your convenience, an armoire, fridge, upholstered lounge area, iron, ironing board, safe, dual phone lines, coffee maker and daily newspaper make staying at the Polynesian relaxing and complete. Your views from your room balcony (higher floors) and patios (ground floor) will be either of the gardens. landscape, pools or lagoon. Nightly turndown service is available upon request. Suites are available at this deluxe resort and offer private bedrooms along with bedding in the parlor.
Concierge service is also available for those who prefer to have that extra special touch. Priority check in, lounge area with amazing views of the Magic Kingdom, morning continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day, evening themed dinner, wine cheese and cordials, desserts and beverages. Additional room services include triple sheeting, robes and mini bar.
Restaurants:
Ohana serves breakfast, and dinner daily. Here you can enjoy the famous Mickey waffles for breakfast along with eggs, sausage, ham, potatos, fruit and beverages. For dinner you can feast in Ohana style on pork loin, mesquite turkey, grilled steak, and jumbo shrimp.
Kona Cafe serves breakfast. lunch and dinner. Enjoy omelets, mile high sandwiches, soups, steak and fish. Famous for Kona coffee, you will want to enjoy that with the spectacular desserts.
Captain Hooks Snack Company serves breakfast. lunch and dinner as well snacks all day long. Serving up burgers, pizza, egg sandwiches, and fresh fruit.
Tambu Lounge serves appetizers, tropical drinks while you enjoy a nice conversation or catch the game on the big screen tv.
Barefoot Pool Bar is open at noon and will keep you cool poolside.
Spirit of Aloha , Polynesian Luau
This one of a kind dinner show is one not to miss. You will dine on a delectable feast complete with bread, chicken, fish, pork, vegetables, salad, and dessert. Included with your dinner is also beer, wine, and a tropical cocktail. Be entertained by the celebration of culture in the Polynesia as you enjoy music and dancing. This fun filled dinner show is set outside in an open theater. Dinner is available at 5:15 and 8:00 pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Reservations are must!
There is so much to at Disneys Polynesian Resort, once you arrive you won't want to leave. You will have a rockin good time enjoying the huge Volcano pool with its giant water slide, white sandy beaches with hammocks, swings and lounge chairs so you can relax in the sun, enjoy the quiet pool just floatin around, let your little ones have fun at the playground or dashin through the spurting fountains , try your luck at Mickey's arcade, take part in interactive programs that are offered daily, learn about the Polynesia culture through dancing and instruments. Desire to stay fit while on vacation, you can enjoy the health and fitness club at the Grand Floridian, at no additional charge. For the adventurer in you , rent a boat or bike or enjoy the paths for jogging and walking, go on a fishing excursion or play volleyball. There is endless activities for you at the Disney deluxe resort.
The easiest and fastest way to travel is the famous Disney Monorail. Just jump aboard and zip your way to the Magic Kingdom, Grand Floridian, Contemporary Resort or Epcot.
You can take the Disney Bus system to MGM, the Water Parks and Downtown Disney. Allow yourself time to travel if going out for dining, 5 minutes when heading over to Magic Kingdom, 15 minutes for Epcot, 5 minutes to Animal Kingdom and 25 minutes for Downtown Disney. You can also take the boat over to the Magic Kingdom.
